Purpose

The Somer Valley Enterprise Zone (SVEZ) has
been awarded an additional £9.3m of funding from the WECA
Investment Fund. The funding will enable the delivery of the scheme
including land acquisition, highways technical design and the
procurement of contractors. The approval to accept was delegated to
the Director of Capital & Housing Delivery in consultation with
the S151 Officer under decision
E3606.

Decision

To accept the grant offer and approve a
further £9.3m of WECA funding to the approved SVEZ capital
budget.

development of the SVEZ.
