Purpose

To develop more detailed feasibility and
business case studies for the proposed hydropower scheme and other
pipeline renewable energy projects

Decision

To fully approve the £300k in the 25/26
and 26/27 capital programme.

Alternative options considered

These projects would not progress without
drawdown of this capital, provisionally allocated in council
budget-setting in February 2025 for this programme.
