Purpose

The Somer Valley Links (SVL) project aims to improve travel between Midsomer Norton, Radstock and Bath via the A367, Bristol via the A37, and the A362 link road between them, through better bus infrastructure and enabling more walking, wheeling and cycling. Bear Flat travel hub comprises of road narrowing and footway improvements alongside travel hub elements which is the basis of this PID.

Decision

To fully approve capital budget of £1.5m. This is funded by WECA grant of £1.2m and £300k of BANES local match from developer contributions.
