Purpose

In considering and approving the Pre-Submission Draft Local Plan 2025-2043 for public consultation on 10th September Cabinet agreed to grant delegated authority to the Executive Director for Sustainable Communities, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Built Environment, Housing and Sustainable Development, to agree textual, presentational, typographical and factual changes to the Pre-Submission Draft Local Plan prior to its publication for consultation. The necessary changes that were agreed are set out in the Delegated Report.

Decision

Under delegated authority agreed by Cabinet on 10th September the Executive Director for Sustainable Communities, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Built Environment, Housing and Sustainable Development, has agreed the textual, presentational, typographical and factual changes to the Pre-Submission Draft Local Plan set out in the schedule in the Delegated Report below prior to its publication for consultation.

Alternative options considered

No other options were considered as the changes to the Pre-Submission Draft Local Plan 2025-2043 that was approved for public consultation by Cabinet on 10th September were necessary primarily for clarification and correcting errors.
