Purpose

On 1st February 2024 and in approving the
Local Plan Options document for consultation Cabinet granted
delegated authority to the Executive Director of Sustainable
Communities in consultation with the Cabinet member for the Built
Environment and Sustainable Development to update the Local
Development Scheme in respect of the Local Plan programme as set
out in the Cabinet Report and to make any textual amendments prior
to its publication.

The updated Local Development Scheme was approved by Sophie
Broadfield (Exec Director for Sustainable Communities) in
consultation with Cllr Matt McCabe for publication - this included
some minor amendments to the Local Plan programme set out in the
Cabinet Report, as well as other updates relating to planning
policy documents and guidance.

Decision

To approve the updated Local Development
Scheme 2024-2027 for publication.
