Description of Decision

That the progress made in delivering the Council’s Improvement Plan and progress of savings targets, as identified in Appendices A and B of the report, be acknowledged.

Reason for Decision

To demonstrate robust governance and oversight of the Improvement Plan Savings Projects, which strengthens transparency and accountability. Regular scrutiny of progress against savings targets will support timely decision?making and early identification of risks or slippage to enable mitigating action to be taken.
