About

The Cabinet Executive is responsible for the council's executive functions, including service delivery, performance management, and corporate governance. It makes key decisions on policies and strategies, considers reports from the Scrutiny Commission, and manages the council's budget. The Cabinet Executive also sets fees and charges, determines strategic issues, and is responsible for health and safety as an employer. It has broad powers, with exceptions for roles delegated to other committees or officers, and makes recommendations to the full Council on policy and budget frameworks.
