Purpose

That delegated authority is given to the Chief Executive, in consultation with the Leader of the Council, to determine and approve expenditure from the additional £500,000 budget allocated to Homelessness to explore, identify and deliver new initiatives over and above those being planned and delivered for 2026-27.

Decision

Creation of two Homelessness Prevention Officer roles and the development of the Homelessness Strategy 2026-2031.
