Purpose

A report on the allocation of funding received
by DfT in terms of BSIP and Active Travel England.

Content

RESOLVED
 
(1) 
That the Department for Transport 2025/26 Active Travel England and
Bus Service Improvement Plan funding be added to the Highways
Capital Programme.
 
(2) 
That subject to (1) above, the apportionment of the 2025/26
Department for Transport Active Travel England funding of
£565,134 as detailed in Appendix A Part 2 be approved.
 
(3) 
That subject to (1) above, the apportionment of the 2025/26
Department for Transport Bus Service Improvement Plan funding of
£5,041,774 as detailed in Appendix A Part 2 be approved.
 
(4) 
That the Highways Active Travel England and Bus Service Improvement
Plan for 2025/26 be approved.
 
(5) 
That delegated authority be granted to the Strategic Director of
Growth and Development in consultation with the Executive Member
for Growth and Development, to amend, seek and accept tenders
subject to adequate budget provision.
