RESOLVED
 

(1) 
That the commencement of a competitive tender process in accordance
with procurement rules, to enable a new contract to be in place by
1st August 2026, be approved.  

 

(2) 
That the Director of Public Health be granted delegated authority,
in consultation with the Executive Member for Housing and Public
Health, to award the final contract (in line with the budget and
strategy outlined in the report) on completion of the procurement
process and the terms of the contract agreed.
 

(3) 
That the acceptance of anticipated additional funding for this
project from Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board
(ICB) be approved and that the Director of Public Health be granted
delegated authority to enter into a Section 256 Agreement between
the Council and the ICB (subject to the terms of the S256 agreement
being reviewed and approved by officers of the Council’s
legal team).
