Report seeking approval to carry out public consultation on the Joint Lancashire Minerals and Waste Local Plan.

Decision made:

That the Executive Member:

-       Approves the publication of the draft revised Joint Lancashire Minerals and Waste Local Plan for consultation purposes during autumn/winter 2026;

-       Adopts the revised Joint Lancashire Minerals and Waste Local Plan Local Development Scheme 2026 which sets out the timetable for plan production;

-       Notes the “Minor Amendments – Sept 2026” which shows the summary of changes since the June 19th version; and

-       Notes the final Joint Lancashire Minerals and Waste Local Plan will be considered and approved by the Council at its Full Council meeting in summer 2027.
