Purpose

The Council's delegated budgets
scheme allocates budgets of £6,500 to each Ward Councillor
covered for the financial year 2024/2025. The funding for this
scheme can be spent on supplementing funding public services, for
the benefit of the local community.
 

Councillor Anita Cooper of
Anchorsholme ward has requested:

(i)              
£2874.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Blackpool Council Parks Services, towards the cost of Solar Lights
for East Pines Park.
 
Councillor Danny Scott of
Warbreck ward has requested:

(i)              
£1221.00 as a ward councillor donation to Holy
Family School, towards the cost of iPads.

(ii)            
£467.25 as a ward councillor donation to the
51st Blackpool Scout Group, towards the cost of hammocks
for camping trips.

(iii)           
£426.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Lightworks, towards the cost of lighting for Christmas Trees on
Devonshire Road and St. Stephen's Church.
 
Councillor Matthew Thomas of
Brunswick ward has requested:

(i)              
£77.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Blackpool Boys and Girls Club, towards the cost of decorations for
the Boys and Girls Club Christmas switch on.

(ii)            
£92.50 as a ward councillor donation to Print
Blackpool, towards the cost of Stakeholders of Brunswick
Merchandise.

(iii)           
£30.00 as a ward councillor donation to Print
Blackpool, towards the cost of a Christmas Banner to advertise the
Boys and Girls Club Christmas Switch on.

Brunswick ward has requested:

£77.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Blackpool Boys and Girls Club, towards the cost of decorations for
the Boys and Girls Club Christmas switch on.

(ii)            
£92.50 as a ward councillor donation to Print
Blackpool, towards the cost of Stakeholders of Brunswick
Merchandise.

(iii)           
£30.00 as a ward councillor donation to Print
Blackpool, towards the cost of a Christmas Banner to advertise the

Children’s Christmas event.
 
Councillor Kim Critchley of
Hawes Side ward has requested:

£1212.40 as a ward councillor donation to New
Langdale Photographers, towards the cost of a Hawes Side
photography project.

(ii)            
£47.50 as a ward councillor donation to
Martonians, towards the cost of E-readers to be used for fund
raising activities.
