Purpose

To
seek authority to transfer Council owned land adjacent to and
required by St Bernadette’s Catholic Primary School in
connection with their Academisation.
 

To
seek authority to enter into the Commercial Transfer Agreement with
St. Bernadette’s Primary Catholic Primary School.
 

 

Decision

To
enter into a Freehold Land Transfer with Lancaster Roman Catholic
Diocesan Trustees Registered.
 
To
enter into a 125 year lease of the school playing field with the
The Blessed Edward Bamber Catholic Multi Academy Trust.
 
To
enter into a Commercial Transfer Agreement.
 
To
pay the other parties reasonable costs estimated to be in the
region of £2,000.00 (Two Thousand pounds) plus VAT
professional fees and disbursements in the amount of £60.00
(Sixty pounds) as required by legislation for the Freehold Transfer
pursuant to the School Standards and Framework Act 1998
(‘’1998 Act’’).
 
To
authorise the head of legal services to enter into any legal
documentation in respect of the Academisation.
