Decision

The Executive agreed the
recommendations as outlined above namely:
 

To
note the progress with the current Blackpool Shared Prosperity Fund
programme

 

To
approve the specific proposed allocations of Shared Prosperity Fund
funding for Blackpool Council for the 2025/6 as set out in Table A
in paragraph 6.2.

 

To
approve the proposals for the Lancashire County Combined Authority
Level programme with Blackpool Council to act as the accountable
body for the funds for the Lancashire County Combined Authority for
2025/26. 

 

To
authorise the Head of Legal Services to enter into any contracts
necessitated by the additional funding and the consequences of
acting as accountable body for the Lancashire County Combined
Authority Shared Prosperity Fund programme.
