Purpose

To present the
findings of the Fylde Coast Gypsy, Traveller and Travelling
Showperson Accommodation Assessment (GTAA) 2023/24.

 
To outline and agree
the next steps following the findings of the Gypsy, Traveller and Travelling Showperson Accommodation
Assessment.
 

Decision

The Leader of the
Council agreed the recommendations as outlined above
namely:
 
1.    
To agree that the Fylde Coast Gypsy, Traveller and
Travelling Showperson Accommodation Assessment (GTAA) 2023/24
(attached at Appendix A) is endorsed as evidence to inform the new
Blackpool Local Plan and is published as soon as is
practicable.
 
2.    
To agree that the Gypsy, Traveller and Travelling
Showperson Accommodation Assessment will be a material planning
consideration in the determination of planning
applications.
