Purpose

To extend the temporary ban of
fishing on Stanley Park lake, that was agreed for a six-month
period from 1st September 2024 to 28th
February 2025, by a further three months to 31st May
2025, in order to carry-out the consultation and review as to the
future use of the lake for fishing, which has not taken place
within the original timescales.
 

Decision

To agree to an extension of
three months to the original timescales highlighted at 1.1 to
31st May 2025, in order that the Parks Service Division
can work with the Friends of Stanley Park to carry-out the fishing
consultation and review.
