Purpose

To obtain sign off on a
partnership agreement between Grundy Art Gallery and London based
organisation Artangel. Together the two organisations have
commissioned an artist, Hetain Patel, to commission an artist to
make a new piece of artwork. The artwork will then become part of
the Grundy Art Gallery Collection.
 

Decision

To approve the partnership
agreement up between Blackpool Council and Artangel to govern the
terms and conditions of the co-commissioning relationship and the
acquisition of the artwork.
