Purpose

Grundy Art Gallery is entering
into an MOU with The National Gallery. This is to be followed by a
partnership agreement between the two parties. The agreements will
govern the National Gallery’s Masterpiece Touring Project
which will take place over three years and see Grundy Art Gallery
exhibiting important, high value works from the National Gallery
Collection. The first year will see Grundy Art Gallery exhibit an
artwork by Monet in Spring 2026.
 
 

Decision

To approve the Memorandum of
Understanding and follow up partnership agreement and authorise the
Head of Legal to sign these documents on behalf of the
Council.
