Purpose

To
consider a change to the membership of the Shareholder
Committee.
 

Decision

The Leader of the Council
agreed the recommendations as outlined above namely:
 

To
agree that the Shareholder Committee will comprise the Cabinet
Member for Economy and Built Environment (along with the continued
membership of the Leader of the Council and the Deputy Leader of
the Principal Opposition Group as co-opted member in line with the
wishes of the political group). 

 

To
agree the appointment of the Cabinet Member for Economy and Built
Environment as Chair of the Shareholder Committee.

 

To
note that the powers and duties as set out in the Council’s
Constitution remain unchanged and that the Shareholder Committee
will continue to function in the same manner as the Executive,
including following the Executive Procedure Rules.
