Decision

The Cabinet Member
agreed the recommendations as outlined above namely:
           
1.    
To agree to waive the charge for road closures for
people or communities who wish to celebrate Victory in Europe Day
(VE Day) with a ‘street party or event’ on any date
between Saturday 3 May to Monday to 5 May 2025
inclusive.
 
2.    
To authorise the Head of Legal Services to prepare
and enter into any Road Traffic Temporary Order under s16a of the
Road Traffic Regulations 1984 and in the alternative to authorise
the Head of Legal Services to prepare any  required notice pursuant to S14(2) of the Road
Traffic Regulations 1984.
