Purpose
The Council's delegated budgets
scheme allocates budgets of £6,500 to each Ward Councillor
covered for the financial year 2025/2026. The funding for this
scheme can be spent on supplementing funding public services, for
the benefit of the local community.
Councillor Paul Wilshaw of
Bispham ward has requested:
(i)
£600.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Blackpool Brass, towards the cost of coach travel to a
concert.
Councillor Matthew Thomas of
Brunswick ward has requested:
(i)
£200.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Blackpool Volunteer Centre, towards the cost of Easter
events.
Councillor Laura Marshall of
Brunswick ward has requested:
(i)
£200.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Blackpool Volunteer Centre, towards the cost of Easter
events.
Councillor Dave Flanagan of
Greenlands ward has requested:
(i)
£1625.00 as a ward councillor donation to
House of Wingz, towards the cost of painting benches and planters
on Devonshire Road.
Councillor Julie Jones of
Greenlands ward has requested:

£1625.00 as a ward councillor donation to
House of Wingz, towards the cost of painting benches and planters
on Devonshire Road.
Councillor Carl Mitchell of
Squires Gate ward has requested:
(i)
£630.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Blackpool Council Parks Services, towards the cost of nature
sessions on Louie Horrocks Park.
Councillor Jane Hugo of Talbot
ward has requested:

£750.00 as a ward councillor donation to House
of Wingz, towards the cost of painting planters on Charnley
Road.
Councillor Mark Smith of Talbot
ward has requested:
(i)
£750.00 as a ward councillor donation to House
of Wingz, towards the cost of painting planters on Charnley
Road.
Councillor Diane Mitchell of
Waterloo ward has requested:
(i)
£400.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Friends of St Anne’s Station, towards the cost a storage
bench for Blackpool Pleasure Beach train station.
(ii)
£600 as a ward councillor donation to House of
Wingz, towards the cost of painting benches and bollards on
Waterloo road.
