Purpose
The Council's delegated budgets
scheme allocates budgets of £6,500 to each Ward Councillor
covered for the financial year 2025/2026. The funding for this
scheme can be spent on supplementing funding public services, for
the benefit of the local community.
Councillor Mel Fenlon of
Bloomfield ward has requested:
(i)
£100.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Memory Lane Cafe towards the cost of VE Day
celebrations.
(ii)
£75.00 as a ward councillor donation to Red
Rose Women’s Group towards the cost of VE Day
celebrations.
Councillor Jim Hobson of
Bloomfield ward has requested:
(i)
£100.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Memory Lane Cafe towards the cost of VE Day
celebrations.
(ii)
£75.00 as a ward councillor donation to Red
Rose Women’s Group towards the cost of VE Day
celebrations.
Councillor Dave Flanagan of
Greenlands ward has requested:
(i)
£110.00 as a ward councillor donation to Kings
Church Community Grocery, towards the cost of equipment hire for a
community fun day.
Councillor Kim Critchley of
Hawes Side ward has requested:
(i)
£50.00 as a ward councillor donation to South
Shore Community Centre, towards the cost of VE Day
celebrations.
Councillor Neal Brookes of
Hawes Side ward has requested:
(i)
£50.00 as a ward councillor donation to South
Shore Community Centre, towards the cost of VE Day
celebrations.
Councillor Jane Hugo of Talbot
ward has requested:
(i)
£250.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Blackpool Pride, towards the cost of steel shielding.
Councillor Mark Smith of Talbot
ward has requested:

£250.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Blackpool Pride, towards the cost of steel shielding.
Councillor Diane Mitchell of
Waterloo ward has requested:
(i)
£87.50 as a ward councillor donation to
Friends of Watson Road Park, towards the cost of VE Day
celebrations.
Councillor Simon Cartmell of
Waterloo ward has requested:
(i)
£87.50 as a ward councillor donation to
Friends of Watson Road Park, towards the cost of VE Day
celebrations.
