Decision

The Executive agreed
the recommendations as outlined above namely:
 
1.    
To agree the proposed
allocation of the Household Support Fund budget of £3,070,022
outlined in Paragraph 6.5.
 
2.    
To agree the following
targeted support that £1,780,000 be allocated to fund an
extension to Free School Meals by Vouchers distributed by schools
for those eligible for Free School Meals during school holidays and
that £80,000 be allocated to voucher support for food for
Care Leavers and Children’s Social Care.
 
3.    
To agree that
£550,000 be allocated to fund a Discretionary Support Scheme
for an application based scheme for residents facing hardship with
energy bills and food.
 
4.    
To agree that
£200,000 be allocated to fund increased Advice and Support
Services and that £300,000 be allocated to grant funding for
voluntary and third sector organisations.
 
5.    
To agree that
£160,022 be allocated to fund the Administration Costs of the
scheme.
 
6.    
To authorise the Head
of Legal Services to enter into any legal documentation flowing
from the contents of this report.
