Purpose

To seek approval for
officers to proceed with the statutory consultation and
advertisement in respect of a proposed Movement Traffic Regulation
Order to ‘stop-up’ Jepson Way for vehicular access at
the Eastern Junction with Common Edge Lane, as detailed within this
report.
 

Decision

To authorise the statutory
consultation and advertisement of notice of the intention of the
Council to make a Movement Traffic Regulation Order under the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to
‘stop-up’ Jepson Way for vehicular access at the
Eastern Junction with Common Edge Lane.
 
To agree that if no objections
are maintained to the proposals, to authorise the Head of Legal to
make the Movement Traffic Regulation Order.
