Purpose

The Council's delegated budgets
scheme allocates budgets of £6,500 to each Ward Councillor
covered for the financial year 2025/2026. The funding for this
scheme can be spent on supplementing funding public services, for
the benefit of the local community.
 

Councillor Paul Wilshaw of
Bispham ward has requested:

(i)              
£48.00 as a ward councillor donation to Print
Blackpool, towards the cost of two ‘keep locked’ signs
for alley gates in Bispham ward.

(ii)            
£17.19 as a ward councillor donation to
Enveco, towards the cost of the instillation of ‘keep
locked’ signs for alley gates in Bispham ward.
 
Councillor John Boughton of
Layton ward has requested:

(i)              
£139.99 as a ward councillor donation to
Blackpool Council Bereavement Services, towards the cost of a
laptop for Friends of Layton Cemetery.
 
Councillor Kathryn Benson of
Layton ward has requested:

(i)              
£140.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Blackpool Council Bereavement Services, towards the cost of a
laptop for Friends of Layton Cemetery.
 
Councillor Carl Mitchell of
Squires Gate ward has requested:

(i)              
£239.82 as a ward councillor donation to
Friends of Solaris Park, towards the cost of new plants for the
Solaris Centre.

The Leader of the Council
agreed the recommendation as outlined above namely:
