Purpose

A request has been made by
Blackpool Football club to facilitate road closures in and around
the Blackpool Football Ground on match days, to ensure the safety
of the general public attending football matches throughout the
forthcoming season.
 

Decision

To authorise (i) the Head of Legal to make an
appropriate order under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
to give effect to the proposals and (ii) the Director of Governance
and Partnerships to give the required notices.
