Purpose

To consider the updated policy
for the provision of vehicle crossings (dropped kerb) on the public
highway, ensuring that standards reflect current best practice,
support sustainable transport, and promote safe and legal access to
off-street parking.
 

Decision

The Cabinet Member agreed the
recommendation as outlined above namely:
 
To approve the revised policy
document "Provision of Dropped Kerbs on the Public Highways”
and adopt it as the Council’s latest guidance and process for
managing applications for vehicle crossings.
