Purpose

A request has been
made by Blackpool Council’s Highways team to temporarily
close Harrow Place from its junction of Clifton Drive to New South
Promenade to resurface the road as part of the new car parking
arrangement. 
The road closure is
required to undertake essential reconstruction works. The works are
planned to be undertaken within a 5 day timescale. 
 

Decision

To authorise the Head of Legal to make an
appropriate notice under s14 (2) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 to give effect to the proposals and to give the required
notices.
