Purpose
The Council's delegated budgets
scheme allocates budgets of £6,500 to each Ward Councillor
covered for the financial year 2025/2026. The funding for this
scheme can be spent on supplementing funding public services, for
the benefit of the local community.
Councillor Joel McKevitt of
Bispham ward has requested:
(i)
£182.50 as a ward councillor donation to
Blackpool Council Highways department, towards the cost of H
markings at Blackpool Sea Cadets.
Councillor Alistair Humphreys
of Clifton ward has requested:
(i)
£600.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Active Blackpool, towards the cost of summer sports
sessions.
Councillor Julie Jones of
Greenlands ward has requested:
(i)
£1650.00 as a ward councillor donation to
House of Wingz, towards the cost of paining benches and planters on
Devonshire road and Bispham road.
Councillor John Boughton of
Layton ward has requested:
(i)
£276.15 as a ward councillor donation to
Blackpool Council Life Events services, towards the cost of a
plaque for Layton Cemetery.
Councillor Kathryn Benson of
Layton ward has requested:
(i)
£276.15 as a ward councillor donation to
Blackpool Council Life Events services, towards the cost of a
plaque for Layton Cemetery.
Councillor Jane Hugo of Talbot
ward has requested:
(i)
£664.50 as a ward councillor donation to
Blackpool BID, towards the cost of ‘ASB and
Shopwatch’.
Councillor Mark Smith of Talbot
ward has requested:
(i)
£664.50 as a ward councillor donation to
Blackpool BID, towards the cost of ‘ASB and
Shopwatch’.
