Purpose

The Council's delegated budgets
scheme allocates budgets of £6,500 to each Ward Councillor
covered for the financial year 2025/2026. The funding for this
scheme can be spent on supplementing funding public services, for
the benefit of the local community.
 

Councillor Laura Marshall of
Brunswick ward has requested:

(i)              
£525.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Blackpool Council Community and Environmental Services, towards the
cost of picnic benches for Layton Rec.

(ii)            
£143.73 as a ward councillor donation to
Friends of Layton Rec, towards the cost of a new laptop.

(iii)           
£297.00 as ward councillor donation to Friends
of Layton Rec, towards the cost of a First Aid course.
 
Councillor Matthew Thomas of
Brunswick ward has requested:

(i)              
£525.00 as a ward councillor donation to

House of Wingz, towards the cost of painting planters in Tyldsley

Stephen on the Cliffs Church, towards the cost of new
