Purpose

Move Together Blackpool, hosted
by Blackpool Council, has secured funding from Sport England.
Blackpool Council has received a Lottery Funding Agreement (LFA).
Sport England requires approval and evidence from Blackpool Council
that the Council has the capacity and authority to enter into the
LFA and perform their obligations under the LFA.   
 

Decision

To approve that Blackpool
Council enter into the Lottery Funding Agreement with Sport England
to deliver the Move Together Blackpool project.
 
To agree the kind contributions
from the Council and the £50,000 commitment from Active
Blackpool.
 
To authorise the Head of Legal
services to enter into the Lottery Funding Agreement and any
proposed Collaboration Agreements with external partners involved
in delivering this project
