Purpose

To
seek approval, further to the Cabinet Member decision of
30th July 2025 (Decision No: PH77/2025), to enter into a
lease with Arc Cinema Ltd of Unit N25 Houndshill Shopping Centre, following on from the
interim arrangements of the Management Agreement, and also a
Licence for Alterations.
 

Decision

To
approve and proceed with entering into a new
lease with Arc Cinema Ltd, of the cinema premises (Unit N25
Houndshill Shopping Centre), on the terms appended to this
report.
 
To
approve an extension to the interim Management Agreement, while
lease formalities are being concluded, for a period up to
30th November 2025.  
 
To
approve the grant of a Licence for Alterations to authorise Arc
Cinema Ltd to undertake fit- out works, including
signage.
 
To
authorise the Head of Legal Services to prepare and conclude the
necessary legal documentation.
