Decision

The Executive resolved as
follows:
 

For the Council to agree to accept both funds and for Council
officers to undertake activities to explore options to utilise the
funding working with key stakeholders, including local MPs as
required.

To
note the draft list of potential 
Pride in Place Impact Fund schemes outlined in the
report (Appendix 8a to the Executive report) and
for the approval of the final allocation of funding to be delegated
to the Director of Place, in consultation with the Leader of the
Council.

To
approve the proposed approach to develop the arrangements for
taking forward and developing the Pride in Place
Programme Fund as set out in section 6.3 including specifically
the activity to be undertaken to appoint a Pride in Place
Neighbourhood Board and appoint a Chair and for a further report to
be brought to the Executive when these 
arrangements are ready for final confirmation

To
authorise the Head of Legal Services to enter into all required
legal documentation in connection with the utilisation of both
funds.

To
authorise, subject to suitable procurement, the potential for
providing an element of funding to third party organisations to
support any activity as may be required.
