Purpose

To approve the appointment of
Morgan Sindall Construction and Infrastructure Limited, via a
pre-enabling works contract, to continue as the main contractor for
the second stage tender process for the Multiversity Campus and to
carry out the Earth Works and RIBA Stage 5 design.
 

Decision

To approve the variation of the
a pre-enabling works contract with Morgan Sindall Construction and
Infrastructure Limited (Morgan Sindall) as the main contractor for
the pre-enabling works to enable them to carry out the Earth Works
for the Multiversity site in advance of the second stage tender
process for the Multiversity Campus being completed.
 

To approve the variation to the
pre-construction services agreement with Morgan Sindall
Construction and Infrastructure Limited (Morgan Sindall) as the
main contractor for the pre-enabling works to enable them to
commence the RIBA Stage 5 design in advance of the second stage
tender process for the Multiversity Campus being
completed.
 

To authorise the Head of Legal
Services to enter into any legal contracts and or documentation
required to implement this decision.
