Purpose

The Council's delegated budgets
scheme allocates budgets of £6,500 to each Ward Councillor
covered for the financial year 2025/2026. The funding for this
scheme can be spent on supplementing funding public services, for
the benefit of the local community.
 

Councillor Matthew Thomas of
Brunswick ward has requested:

(i)              
£250.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Streetlife, towards the cost of a
donation to Splinters group.

(ii)            
£250.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Blackpool Boys and Girls Club, towards the cost of food and
drink.

(iii)           
£250.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Friends of Layton Rec, towards the cost of annual expenses for
volunteers.

(iv)           
£250.00 as a ward councillor donation to St
Thomas’s Church, towards the cost of venue hire for the
Splinters Group woodwork project.
 
Councillor John Boughton of
Layton ward has requested:

(i)              
£100.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Broadway Stars, towards the cost of an anniversary celebration
event.
 
Councillor Kathryn Benson of
Layton ward has requested:

(i)              
£100.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Broadway Stars, towards the cost of an anniversary celebration
event.
 
Councillor Adrian Hoyle of Park
ward has requested:

(i)              
£1018.25 as a ward councillor donation to
Northern Lights Morris Dancers, towards the cost costumes and
equipment.
 
Councillor Fred Jackson of
Victoria ward has requested:

(i)              
£658.00 as a ward councillor donation to Holy
Cross Church, towards the cost of supplies for the weekly soup
