Purpose

The Council's delegated budgets
scheme allocates budgets of £6,500 to each Ward Councillor
covered for the financial year 2025/2026. The funding for this
scheme can be spent on supplementing funding public services, for
the benefit of the local community.
 

Councillor Joel McKevitt of
Bispham ward has requested:

(i)              
£800.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Blackpool and Wyre Crown Green Bowling Academy, towards the cost of
motorised wheelchairs for disabled bowlers.

(ii)            
£940.54 as a ward councillor donation to
Friends of Cavendish Park, towards the cost of a Snooker room
refurbishment.
 
Councillor Mel Fenlon of
Bloomfield ward has requested:

£1468.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Blackpool Council Waste Services, towards the cost of a waste
amnesty in Bloomfield ward.

Friends of Layton Rec, towards the cost of annual expenses for
