Purpose

The Council's delegated budgets
scheme allocates budgets of £6,500 to each Ward Councillor
covered for the financial year 2025/2026. The funding for this
scheme can be spent on supplementing funding public services, for
the benefit of the local community.
 

Councillor Mel Fenlon of
Bloomfield ward has requested:

(i)              
£200.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Blackpool Pride Festival, towards the cost of steel
shielding.
 
Councillor Jim Hobson of
Bloomfield ward has requested:

(i)              
£200.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Blackpool Pride Festival, towards the cost of steel
shielding.
 
Councillor Laura Marshall of
Brunswick ward has requested:

(i)              
£60.00 as a ward councillor donation to St
Thomas’s Church, towards the cost of venue hire.

(ii)            
£131.39 as a ward councillor donation to
Enveco, towards the cost of plants and
equipment for a Community Action Day.
 
Councillor Matthew Thomas of
Brunswick ward has requested:

(i)              
£200.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Blackpool Pride Festival, towards the cost of steel
shielding.
 
Councillor Shaun Brookes of
Marton ward has requested:

(i)              
£665.60 as a ward councillor donation to
Enveco, towards the cost of a dog waste
bin for Stanley Park.

(ii)            
£300.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Enveco, towards the cost of a waste
clearance on Fredora Avenue.
(Retrospective application as the clearance had to take place as a
matter of urgency).

(iii)           
£1000.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Stanley Primary School, towards the cost of a quad
clearance.

(iv)           
£760.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Girlguides, towards the cost of
Girlguides events.

(v)            
£600.00 as a ward councillor donation to
6th Blackpool Scout Group, towards the cost of new tents
and lighting.

(vi)           
£400.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Blackpool Art Society, towards the cost of ‘Paint the
Park’ event costs.

(vii)         
£500.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Friends of Marton Mere, towards the cost of security
equipment.

(viii)        
£200.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Blackpool Pride Festival, towards the cost of steel
shielding.

(ix)           
£566.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Stanley School, towards the cost of coach hire for travel to Eco
Town.
 
Councillor Gillian Campbell of
Park ward has requested:

(i)              
£300.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Blackpool Pride Festival, towards the cost of steel
shielding.
 
Councillor Portia Webb of
Tyldsley ward has requested:

(i)              
£400.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Blackpool Art Society, towards the cost of ‘Paint the
Park’ event costs.

(ii)            
£500.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Blackpool Pride Festival, towards the cost of steel
shielding.

Victoria ward has requested:

(i)              
£200.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Blackpool Pride Festival, towards the cost of steel
shielding.
 
Councillor Pam Brookes of
Victoria ward has requested:

£200.00 as a ward councillor donation to
Blackpool Pride Festival, towards the cost of steel

Councillor Simon Cartmell of
Waterloo ward has requested:

£250.00 as a ward councillor donation to
