Purpose
The Council's delegated budgets scheme allocates budgets of £6,500 to each Ward Councillor covered for the financial year 2026/2027. The funding for this scheme can be spent on supplementing funding public services, for the benefit of the local community.
Councillor Joel McKevitt of Bispham ward has requested:
(i) £1500.00 as a ward councillor donation to Cavendish Park Bowling Club, towards the cost of materials for a new recreation ground.
Councillor Paul Wilshaw of Bispham ward has requested:
(i) £3266.73 as a ward councillor donation to Cavendish Park Bowling Club, towards the cost of materials for a new recreation ground.
Councillor Laura Marshall of Brunswick ward has requested:
(i) £200.00 as a ward councillor donation to Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre Filipino Bayanihan Community, towards the cost of the Barrio Fiesta event.
(ii) £197.00 as a ward councillor donation to Friends of Layton Rec, towards the cost of a children’s day event.
Councillor John Boughton of Layton ward has requested:
(i) £990.00 as a ward councillor donation to Layton Together, towards the cost of a community garden.
Councillor Kathryn Benson of Layton ward has requested:
(i) £990.00 as a ward councillor donation to Layton Together, towards the cost of a community garden.
Councillor Adrian Hoyle of Park ward has requested:
(i) £464.00 as a ward councillor donation to Groundwork, towards the cost of public liability insurance for a Pride in Place event.
Councillor Portia Webb of Tyldesley ward has requested:
(i) £200.00 as a ward councillor donation to Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre Filipino Bayanihan Community, towards the cost of the Barrio Fiesta event.
