Purpose

The Council's delegated budgets scheme allocates budgets of £6,500 to each Ward Councillor covered for the financial year 2026/2027. The funding for this scheme can be spent on supplementing funding public services, for the benefit of the local community.

Councillor Lynn Williams of Claremont ward has requested:

(i)          £225.00 as a ward councillor donation to the Magic Club, towards the cost of a donation for young people in Claremont to take part in projects such as the Duke of Edinburgh award.

Councillor Ivan Taylor of Claremont ward has requested:

(i)          £225.00 as a ward councillor donation to the Magic Club, towards the cost of a donation for young people in Claremont to take part in projects such as the Duke of Edinburgh award.

The Deputy Leader of the Council agreed the recommendation as outlined above namely:
