Purpose

To seek approval for the advertisement and implementation of a Permanent Traffic Regulation Order: THE BOROUGH OF BLACKPOOL (VARIOUS ROADS) (CONSOLIDATION OF WAITING RESTRICTIONS, ON STREET PARKING PLACES, RESIDENTS’ PARKING PLACES AND TAXI STANDS) ORDER 2024 (AMENDMENT No 10 ORDER).

Decision

To authorise the statutory consultation and advertisement of notice of the intention of the Council to make a Traffic Regulation Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to implement the following provisions on Talbot Road and Westcliffe Drive as noted in the background information, the appendices and as summarised below:

•                                            No waiting at any time,

•                                            No loading / unloading at any time

•                                            Modified Taxi Bays and short stay parking bays.

If no objections are received or if objections are received and subsequently withdrawn in respect of the proposals, to authorise the Head of Legal to make the Traffic Regulation Order
