Purpose

The Council's delegated budgets scheme allocates budgets of £6,500 to each Ward Councillor covered for the financial year 2026/2027. The funding for this scheme can be spent on supplementing funding public services, for the benefit of the local community.

Councillor Matthew Thomas of Brunswick ward has requested:

(i)                  £200.00 as a ward councillor donation to Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre Filipino Bayanihan Community, towards the cost of the Barrio Fiesta event.

Councillor Peter Hunter of Highfield ward has requested:

(i)                  £2726.29 as a ward councillor donation to Blackpool Council bus grants, towards the cost of a bus shelter on St Annes Road.

Councillor Jon Bamborough of Ingthorpe ward has requested:

(i)                  £925.00 as a ward councillor donation to Kincraig Water KCA, towards the cost of a disabled access path at Kincraig Lake.

(ii)                £423.22 as a ward councillor donation to St Bernadette's School, towards the cost of books, an outdoor shelter and other equipment.

Councillor Jo Farrell of Ingthorpe ward has requested:

(i)                  £925.00 as a ward councillor donation to Kincraig Water KCA, towards the cost of a disabled access path at Kincraig Lake.

(ii)                £423.22 as a ward councillor donation to St Bernadette's School, towards the cost of books, an outdoor shelter and other equipment.

Councillor John Boughton of Layton ward has requested:

(i)                  £560.00 as a ward councillor donation to Community and Environmental Services, towards the cost of Rubbing Posts for Kingscote Park.

Councillor Kathryn Benson of Layton ward has requested:

(i)                  £560.00 as a ward councillor donation to Community and Environmental Services, towards the cost of Rubbing Posts for Kingscote Park.

Councillor Adrian Hoyle of Park ward has requested:

(i)                  £200.00 as a ward councillor donation to Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre Filipino Bayanihan Community, towards the cost of the Barrio Fiesta event.

The Leader of the Council agreed the recommendation as outlined above namely:
