Purpose

To consider the freehold acquisition of 283-287 Lytham Road, Blackpool, FY4 1DP, as registered under HM Land Registry Title Numbers: LAN86586 and LA406245 (the “Property”).

To seek approval following Executive Paper (EX39/2025 10th November 2025) to use Pride in Place grant funding to acquire the above property and bring it into a usable condition.

Decision

1. To approve the acquisition of 283-287 Lytham Road, Blackpool, FY4 1DP using Pride in Place Impact Funding.
2. To approve the use of Pride in Place grant funding to create a banking hub in this location, or if a banking hub is not approved by Link, then to let the property for either a community use or suitable commercial use.
3. To authorise the Head of Legal Services to enter into any legal documentation relating to the acquisition of this property.
