Purpose

The purpose of this report is to seek approval to consult on the Draft Blackpool Heritage Investment Strategy 2026–2031.

Decision

The Leader of the Council agreed the recommendations as outlined above namely:

1. To approve the Draft Blackpool Heritage Investment Strategy 2026–2031 for consultation to invite views on the draft vision, priorities, delivery framework and action plan from internal and external stakeholders.

1. To note that the outcome of consultation, together with a final version of the strategy, will be reported back to Executive before any strategy is adopted.

1. To note that this report and the consultation process does not commit the Council to any expenditure, capital scheme, grant award, procurement exercise, asset decision or staffing commitment at this stage.
