Purpose

To seek approval for officers to proceed with the statutory consultation and advertisement in respect of the proposed section 16A, as detailed within this report for the Rebellion Event.

Decision

1. To authorise the statutory consultation of the section 16A, The Borough of Blackpool (Leopold Grove) (Part) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Rebellion Event Order 2026.
2. To authorise the Head of Legal Services to seal the order pursuant to Section 16A and subsequent to Secretary of State approval under Section 16B.
