Purpose
The Council's delegated budgets scheme allocates budgets of £6,500 to each Ward Councillor covered for the financial year 2026/2027. The funding for this scheme can be spent on supplementing funding public services, for the benefit of the local community.
Councillor Joel McKevitt of Bispham ward has requested:
(i) £500.00 as a ward councillor donation to Blackpool Polar Bears, towards the cost of uniform and travel for the Special Olympics National Games.
Councillor Mel Fenlon of Bloomfield ward has requested:
(i) £362.50 as a ward councillor donation to Red Rose Women’s Group, towards the cost of a Christmas lunch and raffle.
Councillor Jim Hobson of Bloomfield ward has requested:
(i) £362.50 as a ward councillor donation to Red Rose Women’s Group, towards the cost of a Christmas lunch and raffle.
Councillor Alistair Humphreys of Clifton ward has requested:
(i) £383.80 as a ward councillor donation to Mereside Primary Academy, towards the cost of the year 6 prom.
Councillor Paula Burdess of Clifton ward has requested:
(i) £383.80 as a ward councillor donation to Mereside Primary Academy, towards the cost of the year 6 prom.
(i) £200.00 as a ward councillor donation to Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre Filipino Bayanihan Community, towards the cost of the Barrio Fiesta event.
Councillor Emma Ellison of Norbreck ward has requested:
(i) £2707.00 as a ward councillor donation to Blackpool Rugby Union Football Club, towards the cost of the club house refurbishment.
Councillor Adrian Hoyle of Park ward has requested:
(i) £200.00 as a ward councillor donation to Blackpool and The Fylde Street Angels, towards the cost first aid and lost child cover at the Park ward together event (retrospective due to a delay with paperwork).
Councillor Fred Jackson of Victoria ward has requested:
(i) £100.00 as a ward councillor donation to Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre Filipino Bayanihan Community, towards the cost of the Barrio Fiesta event.
Councillor Pam Brookes of Victoria ward has requested:
(i) £100.00 as a ward councillor donation to Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre Filipino Bayanihan Community, towards the cost of the Barrio Fiesta event.
