Purpose

To seek approval for officers to proceed with the statutory consultation and

advertisement process in respect of the proposed Section 16A Temporary Traffic

Regulation Order in respect of the Tour of Britain cycling event, as detailed within

this report.

Decision

1. To authorise the implementation of the temporary traffic restrictions required to facilitate the Tour of Britain Stage 2 Finish 2026, pursuant to the provisions of the relevant Temporary Traffic Regulation Order.
2. To authorise the Head of Legal Services to seal the Section 16A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order following receipt of the required Secretary of State approval under Section 16B of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
