Decision

The Executive agreed the recommendations as outlined above namely:

1. To approve the adoption of the final post-consultation Lancashire Waste Partnership strategy, A Low Waste Lancashire 2026-2036, attached at Appendix 2a, to the Executive report, with effect until the 31 December 2036.
2. To note that delivery will be taken forward through a Blackpool Council action plan and that any proposal requiring a change to services, contracts, policy or budget will be subject to the appropriate options appraisal, consultation and separate approval.
