Purpose

The Council's delegated budgets scheme allocates budgets of £6,500 to each Ward Councillor covered for the financial year 2026/2027. The funding for this scheme can be spent on supplementing funding public services, for the benefit of the local community.

Councillor Lynn Williams MBE of Claremont ward has requested:

(i)          £250.00 as a ward councillor donation to St Paul's Church, towards the cost of kitchen equipment and groceries.

(ii)         £200.00 as a ward councillor donation to 5th Blackpool Brownies, towards the cost of new uniform and badges.

(iii)        £74.00 as a ward councillor donation to Enveco, towards the cost of green assistant leaflets.

(iv)        £350.00 as a ward councillor donation to Claremont Park Community Centre, towards the cost of plants.

The Deputy Leader of the Council agreed the recommendation as outlined above namely:
