Purpose

The Council's delegated budgets
scheme allocates budgets of £6,500 to each Ward Councillor
covered for the financial year 2024/2025. The funding for this
scheme can be spent on supplementing funding public services, for
the benefit of the local community.
 

Councillor Mel
Fenlon of Bloomfield ward has requested:
(i) £500 as a
ward councillor donation to St Peter’s Church, towards the
cost of St Peter’s Church food provision, providing food for
80 people each week.
 
Councillor Jim
Hobson of Bloomfield ward has requested:
(i) £500 as a
ward councillor donation to St Peter’s Church, towards the
cost of St Peter’s Church food provision, providing food for
80 people each week.
 
Councillor John
Boughton of Layton ward has requested:
(i) £252.35 as
a ward councillor donation to 19th Blackpool Rainbows
towards the cost of a new Rainbow’s Group and Layton
Methodist Church.
(ii) £250 as a
ward councillor donation to Friends of Layton’s Hidden Garden
towards the cost of equipment and tools for the new Layton
Library’s Secret Garden.
 
Councillor Kath
Benson of Layton ward has requested:
(i) £252.35 as
a ward councillor donation to 19th Blackpool Rainbows
