Purpose

To seek approval to renew an
operating agreement for Blackpool Council Parking Services
to  manage
off street car park on a privately owned site
 
The existing agreement has been
in place since 2013, when the former Revells Hotel on Banks Street was demolished by the
owners, Sleepwell Hotels (UK) Ltd.
Initially planning permission was granted for the sites use as a
car park until 30/09/2018. It has now been extended until 19
December 2024 . A further agreement has
been reached with the owners to enter into an operating company
agreement whereby Blackpool Council manage the car park. The income
will continue to be split 75% - 25% in favour of the site
owners.

permission ends on 19 December 2024.
